While you might know everything about your favorite porn category, there are still many things you do not know about the adult entertainment industry. Since we are here to educate you and provide even more information, we decided to put together an infographic with 11 things you did not know about porn. Of course, there are even more, but we find these the most interesting.

Do you know which day of the week you watch the most porn? Have you ever asked yourself what part of the woman’s body others watch during the sex scene? Or what is another word for porn movies? You will find it all in this awesome porn infographic we have ready for you.

1. Fluffer is the person who excites pornstars on set

If you did not know it, there is a particular person on porn set who keeps the male performer erected. He or she is called fluffer. And that does not necessarily mean it involves any touching. They just “fluff” them to stay hard.

2. Pornstar’s average bra size is 34B

When thinking of porn, the first thing that comes to mind are big boobs. Surprisingly, the average bra size of a female pornstar is 34B. The ideal size for cupping if you will. Moreover, the most common body measurement of a female porn performer is 34–24-34.

3. Sunday is PORNday

Statistics show that Sunday is the day of the week when the most porn is consumed. It might be because of the rough week we had or because we are preparing for the next week in style. To each his own.

4. When watching porn, guys watch at girl’s face

It is not pussy, it is not asshole, heck, not even breasts and ass, guys focus on girl’s face (and lips) the most when watching a hot porn scene. Next time you watch your favorite porn site‘s content, follow yourself what body do you watch the most during the action.

5. Porn production began in 1895

Let me simply put it, pornography is way older than you may think.

6. All, yes, ALL men watch it

Maybe not on a regular basis, but at some point in their lives, men do watch porn. Even if it is just a short clip, they do it. Someone tried to study guys at the University of Montreal whether or not porn has an effect on their sex lives. The thing is, he could not find anyone who hasn’t yet consumed dirty videos.

7. 20% of USA men admit they watch porn at work

Nope, even at work, we cannot get away without peeking at our favorite Smut content. That is just the way how we roll, period.

8. Male performers make more money doing gay than straight porn

We already looked at how much a webcam model can earn and the number is quite high. You should also be aware that male pornstars make quite a decent amount more doing gay compared to straight.

9. If it exists, there is porn version of it

Do I even have to say anything else? Oh yeah, there is a website that goes by the name rule #34 with a search bar where you can type whatever you want and there is a great chance there will be a porn version of it. Yes, it is as cool as it sounds.

10. Merkin is a pubic wig

When I first heard of a merkin, I thought it was a joke. Of course, I googled it and found a Wikipedia page describing what is a merking. In short, it is a pubic wig. But predominantly, it was (still is?) worn by prostitutes.

11. Porn movies are also called “blue films”

There are various explanations about why porn movies can also be called “blue film” so I just picked one and decided it is the right one. The shortest answer would be because porn producers did not have large budgets back in the days. In 30s and 40s, film reels were super expensive. Not only that, their shelf life was short and they tend to damage easily. It all resulted in a blue-ish tinge on the images. Porn film makers would then buy these reels and use them for, well, pornos.

I knew almost all of those tidbits apart from those that are not exactly facts (porn “production” starting in 1895? Do they mean simply immortalising sexual acts ON MOVING FILM? Because then, yes, it would be the case that AS SOON AS MOVING FILM WAS INVENTED, people will have used it to make porn! But what if we take “production” more in the sense of a known and historically traceable company or group specifically set up to produce porn on film?? Besides this, there have existed erotic and sexual images in paint form and sculpture for THOUSANDS of years) or those which are UNPROVABLE (ALL men watch porn? Maybe, but how do you prove it??)
